NBA Trade Deadline Pandemonium In Sports Card Market

alt="NBA Trade deadline sports card impacts"The NBA Trade Deadline was at 3pm ET yesterday, and it was complete pandemonium. Players and picks were being traded left, right and center on Wednesday and Thursday, as teams scrambled to complete deals. Among the biggest trades were Kevin Durant being traded to the Suns, Kyrie Irving to the Mavericks and D’Angelo Russell being traded back to the Lakers. Another bigger trade that went down yesterday between three teams was the Hawks acquiring Saddiq Bey, the Pistons getting James Wiseman and the Warriors receiving Kevin Knox along with five second round picks.

Wiseman and Bey, two of the bigger named players from the 2020 NBA Draft, are now on the move. It comes as a slight shock that the Warriors have already moved on from James Wiseman after only a total of 60 games played for Golden State. The 2nd overall pick in the 2020 Draft never seemed to find his groove, but at only 21-years-old it was expected the Warriors would develop him. His 2020 Prizm RC Auto PSA 10 sold yesterday for $175, a 92% increase from when it sold for $91 on 11/17/22. Bey was the 19th pick in the 2020 Draft and was named to the All-Rookie First Team after averaging 12.2 PPG his rookie season. Bey is a streaky and inconsistent scorer, but he has a high ceiling (scored 51 in a game last year). His 2020 Optic Blue RC Auto /49 PSA 10 sold for $400 yesterday as well, an increase of 91% after this card last sold for $209 on 11/21/22.
